Second Harvest Mobile Food Truck

Event Description:

Mobile Food Truck - A Second Harvest Mobile Food Truck will come to the Foundation Center back parking lot on Monday, Dec 9th between 7:30-9am. Typically truck arrives by 8am. Washburn Community Outreach Food Pantry Director, Lindy Abrams, will be there to meet driver and help set up distribution as food pallets will be unloaded in parking lot. Clients will begin arriving by 6:30am, although encouraged to come closer to 8am. Distribution will begin as soon as pallets are unloaded, ICC volunteers have made assembly line and have enough boxes packaged to begin bringing cars through (as many as 300 cars may come but the last few have been between 125-200). Restrooms access is needed for those waiting in cars. ICC needs to have containers ready for distribution and are responsible for cleanup. They are the host to community.
