ITS-SIDS (Infant/Toddler Safe Sleep and Sudden Infant Death Syndrome)

Event Description:

Early childhood educators caring for infants (12 months old or younger) in a center or a home must place babies on their backs to sleep and must participate in this required training that focuses on safe sleep practices. Included will be an overview of what we know about SIDS; the procedures that need to be consistently practiced to reduce the likelihood of it occurring in child care programs; and the related Child Care Licensing requirements. ***This training is paired with in-center technical assistance and review of safe sleep practices.***
